Jessie and Hans’ black tie wedding at Kwila Lodge, a historic and luxurious venue in the Gold Coast Hinterland, was nothing short of incredible. From our first call, it was clear that these two are the life of the party and have a way of lighting up every room they walk into. It radiated throughout their entire wedding day.

Hans is South African and as a fellow South African, it was super special to be part of this celebration. Meeting his family and being around my culture again made me feel right at home. Their two little children played a sweet and memorable role, walking down the aisle just before Jessie, adding the sweetest heartfelt family moment to the ceremony.

The couple’s choice of black tie attire added extra drama to an already elegant affair, nothing beats timeless style. The details were thoughtfully curated, thanks to the incredible planning and styling of Zoe from Imagine X Events, whose expertise ensured that the day flowed seamlessly and looked beautiful! It was picture perfect.

Jessie and Hans also added their own playful twist to tradition: instead of a standard champagne pour, they created a margarita tower for canapés, their favourite drink, which reflected their fun-loving personalities. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, toasts, and laughter before Jessie changed into her Aston Bridal party dress, the evening was a lively celebration full of dancing and unforgettable moments.
