Brit and Julz’s wedding at The Bower Estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland was the perfect balance between luxury and emotion. From the very first email, Brit described her dream day as a “forest disco with all the people we love most,” and what unfolded was exactly that, a black tie celebration filled with heart, style, and the best moments.

Set in the hinterland, The Bower Estate is one of the most sought-after wedding venues on the Gold Coast, and it provided the dreamiest backdrop for their day. Surrounded by towering greenery, Brit and Julz exchanged vows before moving into the marquee reception featuring jaw-dropping draping and a cactus green and wine red colour palette.

The styling was editorial and intentional, with one strong focal point guiding the design, creating a space that felt chick and warm. The dress code was black tie, with Julz wearing a standout chocolate brown suit, adding a modern edge to the day. One of the most meaningful moments was sharing the ceremony with their baby boy, Deus, who stood with them and was even part of their first kiss, a moment that perfectly captured the heart of their wedding.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed into cocktail hour with a lavish champagne pour, setting the tone for a celebration. The reception felt exactly what a forest disco should be.

What made this wedding truly special was Brit and Julz themselves. From the very beginning, they felt like family. Their day was a reflection of love, connection, and the people who matter most, a reminder that the most beautiful weddings are the ones that feel deeply personal.
